this is gizmo and id like to thank you for all your help
in idenifying my lil piece of history....
thats what i had on it plus the fact knowing now
it's a bar hammer double action 34 cal (AKA)
pepperbox revolver (Transitional piece) really helps

Thanks for all your help i;ve had it for 20 yrs

Don't know if you could see but it Ser# 398 all parts
are stamped and also says pat april 16 1845.. :!devil:

Beste Dirk,

Een stukje Amerikaanse geschiedenis op Zeeuwse bodem en dat zo dicht bij mijn deur, dat had ik nooit verwacht. Het is een geweldige collectie waarbij iemand met passie voor techniek en niet eens interesse in wapens, toch zijn hart kan ophalen. kijk maar naar de verschillende systemen die er zijn om een wapen te laden. Dirk heeft ze allemaal. Door dit zo bij elkaar te brengen en goed te conserveren is een museumcollectie ontstaan waar een Amerikaan met liefde voor de Civil War jaloers op kan zijn. Ik ben blij je m'n maatje te mogen noemen.
